We are starting off with journeys done by Lyn Benedict of Butte Montana to heal the mining pit that slowly eats away at her town. This issue is close to my heart, as my mothers family is from Butte. The town’s history is in my bones. My parents met there and my two older sisters were born there. I was born later, after they moved to Michigan. After she died my mother returned to Butte and is buried there along with her relatives. And so here are Lyn’s reports:

FIRST 5 JOURNEYS FOR THE BERKELEY PIT

The Berkeley Pit in Butte, Montana, has been labeled one of the largest Super Fund sites. Details of this open pit mine can be found at http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Berkeley_Pit. Below is a summary of the 5 journeys I have done for the healing and cleaning of the water in the pit from January 2008 through March 3, 2008.

I did 2 elemental merging journeys for the pit and 3 journeys were directed by my PA. In the first one of those journeys, my PA had me surround the Pit with compassion and white light and then bring it into my Sacred Circle. Then my PA brought in the Ocean and the Ocean merged with the Pit and took it out to be washed by all of the Oceans on the planet. Then my PA called in all of the Snakes. (The snakes had come to me in a dream the day before. It was very vivid and felt extremely real. I saw a pond with water that was so clear that I could see a snake that was not moving in the water in front of a rock. His markings were the same as the rock behind him, yet I could distinguish him clearly because the water was so clear. When I asked my PA what the purpose of that dream was, he replied that the Snakes were asking me if they could help in the healing of the water in the Berkeley Pit.) Cobra was the spokesman. My PA asked the Snakes to go down the tunnels that were once mines (3,000 miles of underground mining tunnels) and are now filled with water and cleanse them. The Snakes did this by using venom to seal the walls of the underground tunnels.
The Ocean brought back the Pit water, clean and all together, and we waited until the Snakes were done. Cobra returned saying they had finished and then Golden Light was placed around the Pit and the tunnels to keep the healing sacred.
I thanked all of them. My PA made sure I was clean and that session was ended.

In the next session, my PA had me call in the Water Spirits of the Oceans, the Rivers, the Lakes, the Rain, the Thunder, the Lightening, the Clouds, the Dew, the Frost, the Snow, the Ice, and the Steam (geysers). They were called in, in their purest forms, to do a healing for the Berkeley Pit. I merged with my PA and surrounded the Pit with compassion and love. The spokesperson for the Water Spirits was a Water Fairy named Elvira. She said they would perform an extraction and neutralize and heal what they extracted. Then an infusion of pure divine love and light was placed in each drop of water that was cleaned and then all of the Water Spirits and the Berkeley pit joined and danced together. It was a celebration of the future. Whale volunteered as a PA for the Pit to provide protection. I was asked to sing and dance my healing song. I sang and rattled 5 times. Elvira had me join in the “fairy dance flight”. It was quite fun!
I thanked Elvira, the Pit, all the Water Spirits and my PA. They left and the Pit was returned to its place with Whale superimposed. I demerged from my PA and I was cleansed in Shinumo Falls.

For the last of the 5 journeys with the Berkeley Pit, I created my Sacred Circle in the Upper World on a cloud with Eagle, “J.J.”, close by. I was merged with my PA. The miners had volunteered to help with the healing of the water this time, before the session began. The Berkeley Pit was surrounded with compassion and love and then brought into the Sacred Circle. The Pit came in a ‘bubble of light’, looking like pure mountain spring water. The Spirits of the Miners who worked in the mines in Butte that wanted to help heal the water in the Pit were called into the Sacred Circle. The spokesman for the miners was Burl. Burl called in all the loving and compassionate ancestors of the miners present. The clouds were full, many stories high, in every direction, packed, like in a circular stadium. Burl played his bagpipe and snakes came out of it (millions). The snakes dove into the Pit water and swam up the tunnels. They were pulling threads. They took the threads through the tunnels and out of all the mine shafts and then connected them. The music ran along the threads and caused the minerals to separate from the water. The minerals attached themselves to solid things, but not to the water. The Spirits asked me to sing my healing song. I sang it twice. The threads dissolved and the snakes went back into the bagpipes. Then each spirit miner plucked a little stardust from the sky and sprinkled it on the Pit water. The water became crystal clear and sparkled like thousands of diamonds. It was a blessing and it provided protection. Burl drank from the water and declared it good! Each Miner Spirit gave thanks for the opportunity to participate. Then I thanked them! The Spirit Miners and their ancestors left while Burl played “When the Saints Go Marching In” on his bagpipes. It brought tears to my eyes. Then my PA sprinkled some of the clear Pit water on me as a blessing and a cleansing. My PA returned the Pit ‘bubble’ to its home in Butte. I thanked “J.J.”, closed the circle and my PA and I demerged.
