Guiding Others in NOR – Master Teleclass
We learn how to guide others on a shamanic journey. By doing this you greatly enhance your skills in interpreting and relaying your journey as you experience it. You will learn the Rattle Journey, where you intimately guide a partner and learn to recite your travels. This technique is very helpful in getting your “mind chatter” out of the way, and it helps you have a deep experience. You can also use this to help others enter non-ordinary reality without having to teach them to journey. It is a two for one!
You will also learn how to create customized “mediations” for others to give them a way to access the help of their compassionate spirits without their having to learn to journey on their own. This is a very cool way to give people a personalized way to ask for healing and advice for themselves and their animal.

If you have taken this class and want to share your experiences, and get feedback from me and others, please do so here. Remember that this is a public forum, so be careful about saying anything personal about your spirits or your clients.

Hi Carla! I listened to the recording of the class and wanted to pass along the experiences I had with the exercises. The class was terrific by the way! OK, here is my “homework”! Thanks for everything! I can’t wait to hear what your next class will be. By the way, I am planning on sending you case studies for certification. Yea! – Blessings, Brenda Summers
In class journey 1st exercise: We journey with a rattle as our rhythm – I ask my teacher and power animal to bring me to my teachers tribe. He says that his tribe is my tribe. We are from the same people. We jump through a hole and into a grassy knoll. I say that I see no one. My teacher says that I must sing a song to bring them to us. I do this. Ah way ah way ah ho, ah way ah way a ho nay. They come. I walk through them and feel the energy of my tribe. I ask what my tribal name is. They say it is Little Wolf. It is my connection to all things and why I am so fascinated by dogs and wolves. I was reminded of times where I felt the connection in OR. I am told that I have had to learn how to use my wolf medicine and channel its energy in ways that do not overpower others or cloud my judgment. I thank them and we are returned.
3rd exercise:
Song is what connects us to our ancestors. It is a common language. If drum is the heartbeat. Song is the pulse. It is how stories are told and remembered. Since we were young, songs have been sung to us to help us feel nurtured and connected. In a journey it is the same way. It connects all life forms. It is unifying. It also keeps deceivers out. Only certain songs will be given to you. When you sing them the ancestors will know you are not a deceiver or destructive energy. No harm seeking people are given the sacred songs. Only those who share in the desire to connect with divine light are given sacred songs.
Exercise 4:
My teacher told me that I would love this journey because it was very cool. I was taken to a very large tree. This is the tree of life. It was the first thing creation made. The first life form on Earth. From this tree we are all born. I was taken to the roots of the tree and the song I heard was ethereal. I saw my beginning at the end of a root. There were ancestors surrounding me. The song brought me into being and will stay with me through this life.
I was told that trees and air realized that they were the first to be on this Earth. They came from song and then created song by the wind blowing the leaves on the tree. When a part of the tree became old and wind had blown holes into its branches, it was the beginning of another song. This was shared with animal and human kind after the tree gave them life. The tree and wind would play songs for them and taught them the importance of song. Human kind heard the sound and took a branch from the tree. She then blew into its hollow and put her hand on holes. The music was so beautiful she cried. Her tears fell on the ground. As she continued to play, more tears were shed and this is what created water.
My teacher said that rattling also came from tree and wind. The wind shook the tree and all of its leaves. Seeds began to fall to the ground. Human kind picked up the seeds for food and put it in dried gourd. As they walked with the gourd full of seeds, they heard its music. It brought them happiness so they began to play this music to their young. This is why so many cultures give rattles to their young. He laughed and said, “this is more than you thought you would get from this journey. I told you it would be cool!”

Thanks, I just wanted to update you on this course. This has helped my journeys so much!
It helps me stay focused and yet, allows me the freedom to wander and see things I might have missed before. Some of these things have turned up to be
important. Without the verbal song of my journey that I recorded, I would have missed the mark for the issues I was searching.
I am still not quite comfortable being the songstress, but I am hoping that will change with time and practice. Pam

I feel it in my bones that I could not have even attempted
the singing aloud (passing the baton) if it weren’t for the support
of our group circle and the kindly spirits.
This was outside of my comfort zone. Like with challenging
Yoga poses, I was exploring my “edge”. Spirits are guiding
me to greater exposure in everything I do. The trick is to not
let Ego get in way!
I plan to re-create that first exercise, this time with the singing
or chanting, asap… while it’s still fresh in my mind. I’m happy
to share that with the group. (-:
Thanks, Carla, for all you do in NOR and OR, for all beings!
Blessings on the Path,
Jacqueline
